Dear Students, We get firm understanding when we apply our knowledge to solve some real world problem as "Seeing is Believing". Keeping in view this objective, we have selected a small real world problem as a case study for implementation in order to reinforce the concept you learn in this course. It will help to bridge the gape between theoretical concepts and their practical usage in real world scenarios. Problem Scenario Suppose you are a student projects manager (supervisor) in Virtual University of Pakistan. You want a desktop and web application that will be used to manage the projects of your students. You have to develop an application that will fulfill requirements given above. Application Requirements In this application you will be administrator. Admin (Administrator) will be able to manage (add, view, update and delete) student information. Admin will also be able to manage each student projects. One student can work on multiple projects. Objectives After completing this application, you will have better understanding of real world or professional application. You will able to design desktop and web applications. You will know how to get user input through different method and save it into arrays or database. You will have understanding to database connection and CRUD operation on database tables. You will get better understanding of MVC architecture and application layers. You will also get knowledge of JSP's, HTML, CSS and some other technologies.    Note: - The whole task is divided into 5 no. of components and each component will be given to you for implementation as an Assignment. Thus each assignment will be based on previous assignments and you may not be able work on subsequent assignments if you miss any.
